Watching your presentation this afternoon opened my eyes to the wider world of textiles and weaving.
I was interested to see that each pattern and symbol had meaning. It was a great experience and learn of the culture and individual personality Kuwait has to offer. Thank you for taking the time to show us your project and to share your experiences.
Louise – my pleasure. There is nothing I enjoy more than disseminating information about a fading craft. Keep looking at the semiotics (symbols, motifs) of textiles & ceramics; it’s really fascinating stuff. Keireine
